Employer-Sponsored Tuition Assistance
Many organizations offer tuition assistance to employees and, in some cases, cover 100 percent of tuition costs. Programs and policies vary among employers. Consult your personnel office to learn more about tuition assistance at your organization.
If you are eligible for employer-sponsored tuition assistance, please contact an Enrollment Advisor for more information regarding payment arrangements.
Financial Aid and Alternative Financing
The ability to pay for your education is always an important consideration. Our Admissions Department can assist you in exploring alternative financing options. One such option is the Federal Stafford Loan. To be eligible, you must be a degree student and registered in a minimum of five credit hours in a semester. For more information, please contact an Enrollment Advisor.
Applying For Financial Aid
Determining your eligibility for financial aid is accomplished by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Follow the steps below to find out what types of educational financial assistance you may qualify for.
| Step 1: | Gather your personal and financial documents. |
| Step 2: | Filling out the FAFSA can be accomplished electronically. To do so you should sign up for a Personal Identification Number (PIN). This is the recommended method because your PIN will both speed up the application process and allow you to track your FAFSA more easily online. |
| Step 3: | Once you have been provided a PIN you can proceed to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When you’re done, use your PIN to electronically sign your FAFSA, or print it out, sign it, and follow the mailing instructions. |
| Step 4: | In a few weeks, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). This is your opportunity to correct mistakes you might have made and finalize the FAFSA process. You’ll need to use your PIN to electronically sign the Student Aid Report, or print it out, sign it, and follow the mailing instructions. |
| Step 5: | Congratulations, you have completed the FAFSA application process. Your Student Aid Report will automatically be sent to the school, and you will now know how much, and what federal financial aid options are available to you. |
